"The
Church split up - and ways to renewal"
This "triptyk" (the three connected images) illustrates a bit of the situation in the Church today - and shows possible ways to get further on from there.
East/west - female/male - are these opposites or necessary as complements?
What have we lost because of the split? And what can we get, that we didn't have before, through a reunion?
What can we learn from each other's experiences of God?
Can the way of unity also become a way of deep renewal?
To
together humbly approach the centre - God's glory - and at the same time
the very place of the wounds of the split, may perhaps be a way to a new unity
in plurality, and to a new eucharist - thanksgiving - where everyone may
participate?
